For almost three months, I’ve been debating whether to create a resource library on my website, a private podcast, a subscriber-only blog, or even a Substack — yet here we are, meeting in another corner little of the internet. It feels like the perfect place to meet again, doesn’t it?
I’ve had a million ideas around all of this, but I realized it was time to take action, even if it's messy. So instead of getting lost in the details, I’m diving in!
(I still have ideas for a resource library floating around, but they’re on the back burner for now.)
I don’t really intend to give a whole introduction post or anything like that because I’ll get too wrapped up into the details and won’t actually post anything (messy action, remember?). But, I will briefly introduce myself and *loosely-and-without-feeling-beholden-to-strict-frameworks* describe what I am imagining this virtual space to entail.
So, hi!
I’m Maggie, an artist turned brand-obsessed designer and creative director for my virtual studio, Nuance Collective.
Welcome to The Daybook, a Substack that originally existed as the official email newsletter of Nuance Collective. Here, we’ll discuss my many creative endeavors and daydreams, personal branding, self expression, things that inspire me, and whatever else comes along — for both your musing pleasure & mine.
I mostly hang out on Instagram where I share my designs and other various creative practices. Instagram is really just another creative outlet for me and I truly enjoy feed curation, posting Stories, discussing ideas, making amazing connections (and often IRL friendships) with other creative people, and finding new ways of sharing my vision.
In fact, I intend to talk about Instagram quite a bit here, in addition to a wide variety of concepts that relate to sharing your ideas + offerings + gifts in all of the various spaces that we have today in this strange yet beautiful digital world.
Who knows where these new beginnings will take us! But I hope you leave this corner of the internet feeling inspired and encouraged.
xoxo, Maggie
